Statistical Analysis Used : Measures of Central Tendency, Mann-Whitney U-test, and Wilcoxon W value. Results: Statistically significant improvement (P < 0.05) was seen in both the scores at the end of 3 weeks in the experiment group as compared to the control group. On intragroup comparison, both scores showed statistically significant improvement (P < 0.001) in the experiment group at the end of 3 weeks as compared to baseline but not in the control group. No adverse event was reported. Conclusions: Group singing significantly improves GDS-SF scores and loneliness in institutionalized geriatric adults having mild depression at the end of 3 weeks. It showed that the reliability of organizational climate was 0.91, and that of OCB was 0.91. Data analysis was carried out using the statistical program package SPSS version 19. The methods of Pearson correlation, stepwise regression, and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) have been used for data analysis. Results: The results of the study indicate that there is a direct and significant relationship between organizational climate, its dimensions, and OCB. Of the dimensions of organizational climate, the goals of an organization, the role, rewards, procedures, and communications within an organization are able to forecast the OCB. The results of MANOVA suggest that there is a significant difference between the respondents' viewpoints about the organizational climate according to age and OCB according to education. January-March 2017, 3(1):69-73
DOI:10.4103/2395-2296.180308
Aim : Considering positive effects of hospital information system (HIS) in patients' treatment and organization performance, it is necessary to evaluate the quality of services provided by these systems. Hence, this research was aimed to evaluate HIS usability after training evaluators based on heuristic method in Isfahan hospitals. Methods: This research is a practical, descriptive, and cross-sectional study, which was conducted in Isfahan educational hospitals in 2014. In this research, four evaluators assessed four HIS (Kosar, Rayavaran Tose, Pooya Samaneh Diva, Sayan) independently. Data collection tools were researcher-made check lists based on 10 Nielsen's components, which validity of the checklist was verified by faculty members, as well as medical informatics and hospital information technology specialists. Checklist not required to reliability but because of the proliferation evaluators of reliability with group training of evaluators that are involved in the process was provided. Then data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 software (IBM Company, USA). Result: The results indicated that the total of detected problems in Kosar System, Rayavaran Tose System, Pooya Samaneh Diva System, and Sayan System were %31, %34, %24, and %24, respectively. The highest number of problems with %58 was related to users' freedom and dominating the system, and the lowest number with %16 was related to the component of match between the system and the real world. Conclusion: Despite the widespread use in the country, the design of many existing health systems has usability problems, which can affect the quality of users' interaction with the system and, therefore, caring outcome. Observing available standards and regulations in designing information system user interface like mentioned components in this research can lead to problem reduction.

The IBM SPSS Statistics version 20 was used for analysis of the survey data. Results: The survey conducted revealed that most of the reported abuse had academic roots (15.44 ± 5.75). Residents were most often cited as the sources of the perceived abuse, followed by professors and nurses. The Department of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine was the most frequently cited wards where the students experienced the perceived abuse. Saeideh Mahzoonien, Zahra Yousefi
January-March 2017, 3(1):21-28
DOI:10.4103/2395-2296.186517
Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate relationships between psychological factors (self-esteem, attachment styles, and body image), family factors (family relationships), social factors (teacher-student relationship), and the academic achievement of female high school students in Isfahan. Methods: The study was descriptive and correlational. For sampling, 210 female high school students from all female high schoolers in Isfahan with an average age of 16 were selected through cluster sampling. Research instruments were questionnaires of self-esteem, attachment style, body image, and family relationship and a researcher-made scale of the teacher-student relationship. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Analyzing the results of the study that was done through step-wise multiple regression analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between insecure maternal attachment style, body image, kinds of teacher-student relationships, and academic achievement; and from among these variables, body image had the ability of predicting academic achievement. Other predictor variables were not significantly related to academic achievement Therefore, it could be concluded that changes in insecure maternal attachment style, body image, and teacher-student relationships were associated with the changes of the academic achievement. Conclusion: There was not any significant relationship between self-esteem and the students' academic achievement. Insecure maternal attachment styles, from among different styles, had a negative significant relationship with academic achievement. It means that increasing insecure maternal attachment style causes decreasing the students' academic achievement. The negative and significant relationship between negative body image and academic achievement means that increasing the negative body image causes decreasing academic achievement. In this research, no significant relationship between family and academic achievement was observed. By taking different kinds of significant teacher-student relationships into consideration, changing teacher-students relationships in adolescence period is more important than other variables related to academic achievement.

DOI:10.4103/2395-2296.198416
Aim: The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that could improve pediatrics teaching and outcomes from student feedback. Methods: King Khalid University (KKU) is one of the pioneer universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which adopt traditional curriculum. Students who finished pediatrics 2 MBBS course were kindly requested to answer a well-structured 21 validated questions regarding the course in June 2015. SPSS version 22 (IBM) software was used for analysis; Chi-square test was applied to measure the significant differences among the responses; and the level of significance was 0.05, which means P < 0.05 shall be considered a significant defense. Results: Most of the students viewed the course as valuable, understood and viewed instructors as dynamic, energetic, enhanced presentations, enhanced discussion, friendly, made students feel welcome in seeking help/advice in or outside of class, accessible to students, and discussed current developments in the field. Examinations tested course content as emphasized by the instructor, with available facilities for the course and homework. On the other hand, a significant number of students think the course does not increase their interest in the subject, no clear explanation, proposed objectives inconsistent with actually taught. Students were encouraged to ask and to express themselves and students evaluation unfair. Conclusion: Students feedback gives good reflections regarding limitations of the traditional curriculum, gives recommendations to improvement.
